In this hybrid seminar, Katherine Moyer, partner at Hershner Hunter, will walk us through the typical steps of a startup, from entity formation through early fundraising rounds. Using a fictional company as an example, we'll discuss what to do and what not to do in that process in order to protect yourself and your business. Although the company we'll be discussing is fictional, it is based on Moyer's experience with a multitude of startups over the past 20 years. The Changing Face of Downtown Eugene The heart of Downtown Eugene has some exciting additions!  On this walking tour we will visit 4 locations around downtown, and end with a reception at the newly reopened Innovation Hub at 942 Olive.  Onward Eugene in collaboration with the City of Eugene will be hosting this guided tour.  Learn more about each of these projects and see in person the progress that has been made.  We will visit the following locations: Riverfront Park 5th Street Market Alley Willamette Connection Farmers Market Pavilion Meet at Riverfront Park at 3:30 to start the guided tour.  After the walking tour join us at the Innovation Hub at 942 Olive Street for a reception and a chance to see more projects that are underway or planned for downtown; with City Staff available to answer questions.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.
