We are Answering the Call

When talking with executives across the community we have heard repeatedly that businesses are looking for resources to train their people to be better leaders- managers, directors and officers. After more than a year of research and development, Onward Eugene and the Eugene Chamber are partnering together to launch a community-wide leadership initiative, RISE Leadership Institute.

HOW WE ARE CLOSING THE GAP

While some leadership training opportunities exists for high-level leaders, they tend to be expensive, exclusive and unsustainable. As a result, Eugene has a talent and leadership gap that impacts our community’s economic resiliency.

RISE Leadership Institute intends to narrow that gap by offering a leadership development solution that is high-tech and still high-touch; that is scaleable and sustainable- not only teaching you what areas you need to grow in, but giving you the tools to do so and succeed.

AND, you won’t be in at alone. CORE Groups and regular gatherings ensure accountability and help along the way.

RISE BOOTCAMPS

Are you ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? The RISE Bootcamp programs have been specifically designed to provide exposure to the tools and skills that will enhance your leadership. Each bootcamp takes place over 3 days with in person meetings at The Innovation Hub located at 942 Olive.

All RISE Bootcamps are eligible for SHRM CEU’s and HRCI Recertification Credit! These courses are recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP recertification activities.

Scalable & Sustainable

We purposefully sought out a solution that would provide scalability- it would transform everyone within an organization, not just senior leaders; and sustainability- it would provide lasting transformation, as opposed to momentary inspiration.

CORE Groups

Leaders will go through the RISE Institute in CORE Groups- small groups of 8-12 peers (based on their position in their company) that will meet twice each month for ninety minutes to have facilitated discussions about content and applicability.

High-tech & High-touch

RISE will use an online leadership training platform called GiANT to provide content, training and tools. We will pair the trusted online curriculum with personal interactions among peers across the community.

CORE-PERATE Gatherings

Throughout the year, we will host large forums and an annual summit where all participants in the RISE Leadership Institute will gather to engage with fresh content and speakers, and interact with one another.
