Goals
- Align and pursue top regional economic priorities in collaboration with the Cities of Eugene and Springfield, Lane County, Springfield Chamber of Commerce, and other regional partners.
- Work as a collective with the cities of Eugene and Springfield, Lane County, the University of Oregon, and the State of Oregon to attract new business and investment to the region.
- Foster community growth in a way that is attractive to businesses, workers, and residents.
Strategies
- Maintain the regional website www.greatereugene.org. as a resource for businesses, talent, and economic development partners to better understand the benefits of locating in the Eugene/Springfield area.
- Develop customized incentives to recruit businesses that fill supply chain gaps.
- Work with the Eugene Mayor’s Blue Ribbon Business Commission to implement Downtown Eugene revitalization strategy.
- Work alongside public partners to develop sites, infrastructure, and quality of place.
